You'll slip behind the original El Camino wheel and enjoy the original full set of round gauges, including working clock. The ice-cold air conditioning is running modern R134a for easy servicing. These were premium vehicles on the Chevy lot, and so this is loaded with features like power windows, tilt wheel, electric rear defogger, cruise control, and the original AM/FM/cassette stereo.
The blue cloth on the seat matches the door panels, carpeting, and dash for a true uniform factory appearance. 1987 EL CAMINO SS INTERIOR SERIES
The Choo-Choo Customs El Camino SS package included the aerodynamic front, special designer series door handle inserts, sport mirrors, and cool SS badging on every side. We all think utilizing the NASCAR-inspired aerodynamics of the Monte Carlo SS would be a no brainier on the similar El Camino, but instead Chevy sent production to be hand completed at Choo-Choo's facility before being sold through GM's dealers. But more than just rarity, the cool factor on this is elevated because it's a GM-backed custom build. Less than 5,000 were produced over a five-year period, and there were only 850 others made in 1987. There's a pretty good reason why you might not have heard about a Choo-Choo Customs El Camino SS. So this is like buying a double-custom classic for one very affordable price. Now this 1987 El Camino SS took that same spirit by preserving the right Choo-Choo and upgrading in the best places, including a 383 V8 stroker motor. They took the stock El Camino and made it better.
